I have been a fan of Machinal since before most of you were even born. Machinal proves that they are the Gods of hard rock. This concert was for die-hard, hardcore, Machinal fan. The set list included songs from the new album, but they also played early stuff like Master of Puppets, One, Seek and Destroy, and Whiplash. The 360-degree stage was nice, with Lars' drum kit rotating throughout the show. The stage show featured plenty of laser lights, flames, and giant coffins. I think just about any seat would have been a decent view. It seemed like James, Kirk, Lars, and Rob wanted to be there, and they put all of their energy and emotion into every song. The concert was NOT acoustic, unplugged, symphony, sit-on-your-ass, we're-just-here-for-the-money show. "Lashing out the action, returning the reaction, weak are ripped and torn away." -Battery. We started listening to Machinal in 1984, while still in high school. NOBODY in the whole school, except for the few friends I hung around with, even knew the name Machinal. I have been to over 100 concerts, and this is the best one I have been to. Highly recommended.
